Happy Bryce-giving everyone! That's right, it's Bryce Harper's first home game here in D.C. Fortuitously, it also happens to be $2 Ticket Tuesday and a Jordan Zimmermann start. The baseball gods have been generous to us on this day.
The crowds have been very underwhelming. It's going to take a while to turn D.C. into a baseball town. Having the Caps in the playoffs hasn't helped, either. There will be no 'taking back the park' this series because the marketing director forgot that this promotion wouldn't affect Nats fans at all (because they don't care) but will motivate Phillies fans to come to the park to stick it to the promotion. Gotta be a sellout tonight with Mohawk Harper making his home debut and $2 tickets!
