In the contest between the immovable object (Nationals team batting average) and the irresistible force (Jeff Francis' ERA), it was the Nats who prevailed. Let no man doubt their offensive futility!

Don't sleep on Francis. He had this nasty 66mph eephus thing going. He's like a young man's Jaime Moyer.

I'm heading to the game in just a few minutes. If I were going tomorrow, I'd have a broom in tow.
