I got a great look at Larry Vanover's ring 'em up call the other day. Partly it was thanks to Strasburg nasty stuff and partly to the expanded strike zone.
I also got a good look at Vanover's ejection move.
Those were some brutal calls. In all fairness, the Nats have been victimized by the umps as much as they have benefited. Not sure if I'm getting less tolerant in my old age, but the strike zone appears to be particularly amorphous (to quote Joe Maddon) early in the season.
